SUNDAY JANUARY 21st

Zoroastrianism

A man, Zoroaster, at approx age 30, was walking alone in Persia when he was suddenly communicated to by God who showed him that there is his body of flesh, his immortal soul, and the holy spirit of love that is God and creates all.

He is approached by an angel ("the personification of good thought") who asks Zoroaster to identify himself and state his greatest Need and Wish. Zoroaster replies that his Need(motive) is Righteousness and that his Wish is to become Aware of the Will of the Sacred Beings and to practice their pure existence.

The angel says that Righteousness comes from within. Zoroaster asks, “Where does the radiance come from?” And the angel tells him that he must leave his physical body to be ready to walk in the presence of God.

Zoroaster goes into an Out-Of-Body Near Death Experience in which he experiences his body-less soul-self in heaven amidst a gathering of angels, and he meets seven Archangels, and finally God who instructs him in the Will of the Sacred. God tells him that the first perfection is Good Thought, then Good Words, then Good Deeds. That those who love the Light are Righteous, and those who love the dark are not.

Then Zoroaster spent the rest of his days sharing his experiences and teaching about what he had learned.  This activity became known as Zoroastrianism.
