SUNDAY JANUARY 21st

Each week, a new topic is pulled randomly from the vessel of ideas on the altar in the center of the circle. Anyone can put any thought into the vessel, written on a slip of paper. And the end of each session, the idea we will be, perhaps, inspired by next week is discovered by the fingers reaching blindly into the jar. Last Sunday the discovery was:

Procrastination

When I just feel like spacing out, or resting or letting go, or listening to the echos of my dreams, but there's work to be done, its usually a good set-up for PROCRASTINATION.

Even though I know that this work is unavoidable, I somehow am stuck in a loop of something else, even some kind of nothing.

Maybe I am tired or just can't make my thoughts do THE THING. And then I become afraid of what it might mean if I don't do the deed, and then that fear overwhelms me and it feels heavier and even more hopeless.

A feeling of "It's not good enough" might rise up and stop me in my tracks.
Did you ever have an experience like that?
