THIS WEEK

When you come to Cottonwood Gathering you have the opportunity to contribute a theme idea to the Vessel of Themes. write the thought onto a slip of paper, fold it in half, and drop it into the glittering Vessel.

At the end of each Gathering, someone reaches in to the vessel and pull one of the ideas out and reads it aloud, and this then becomes the theme for the following week.

Here's what gently arose its power last Sunday:

"The Art of Inquirey"

To find the truth in my life I need to look, I need to wonder about how, why, and what is going on here, and then I need to inquire. I need to ASK. But my inquirey needs to be gentle, needs to be un-judgemental, needs to be kind.

There is an ART to asking questions of another. Sometimes an un-artful inquirey can slam the door shut, forever blocking that wanted knowledge.
