THE VESSEL OF THEMES

When you come to Cottonwood Gathering you have the opportunity to contribute theme ideas to the Vessel of Themes.

Write the thought onto a slip of paper, fold it in half, and drop it into the glittering Vessel.

At the end of each Gathering, someone reaches in to the vessel and pulls one of the ideas out and reads it aloud, and this then becomes the theme for the following week.

Here's what gently arose its power last Sunday:

 

“Inclusiveness / Drum Dance”

 

Two messages came forth this week. And it seems to me that they are very much aligned.

The drum calls out for all who hear to be moved, perhaps to move their vital forces into a dance. Perhaps a quiet, hidden feeling, perhaps an exuberant expression, or a shake awakening.

The love in the drum invites inclusion, as does the love in the dance, which inspires to join in a healing celebration, internal massage, the dance of life in all its musical colors and shapes.

Vibrant communion of including.
