THE VESSEL OF THEMES

When you come to Cottonwood Gathering you have the opportunity to contribute theme ideas to the Vessel of Themes.

Write the thought onto a slip of paper, fold it in half, and drop it into the glittering Vessel.

At the end of each Gathering, someone reaches in to the vessel and pulls one of the ideas out and reads it aloud, and this then becomes the theme for the following week.

Here's what gently arose its power last Sunday:

 

“MANDALA”

 

This Sunday, Sofia Sunshine will share, within the theme of the "Mandala", a contemporary form of Tibetan Mandala Meditation.  She will provide a brief history and education about the principles behind this powerful practice and guide the group in the meditation.  Participants are encouraged to bring a journal and pen for taking notes on their own experience. The second half of the time together will be sharing with the group what insights and experiences came from the guided visualization meditation.
